They won't play in quicktime on a mac by default but must be opened in a player that can decompress .au files. They play fine on Windows PCs. I can convert them to any sound format, but they tend to get larger or sound worse. Some browser plug-ins may attempt to play the file within the browser. Just "right click" (PC) or "option click" (mac) and choose save to disk. Kind of a "duh" footnote - but there you go. |
