No peburk there is no special handshake (at least not that I have been informed of). I have been a poster on the BBBS for over a year and never made the GS section. I don't know if my posts are good enough or just not whacked out enough or too logical or what. I don't worry about it.
I think most people get tired of my big arguments which are:
1) Price--Mac cost to much, PCs are cheaper
2) more softwre for PC (and GOD do I hate that "how many word processors do you NEED?" argument--It is such a silly statement akin to "it isn't the size of the wand, but the magic in it") It is called rationalization
3) Apple had a great product and dropped the damn ball --due to #1 and #2 (well actually #1 caused #2)
4) forcing people to have things they don't want and makeing them pay for it. (ethernet, sound cards, modems, CDROMS, etc.--some of these examples go back a few years)
5) Lies about speed (from either side of the argument)
Yes, in regards to getting goodshit posts updated - I'm a lazy schmuck - I admit it. But anyone who'se been a customer (or victim) of the BBBS for a year, deserves a booby prize. So here's your prize booby! Regardless, within the above sampling, you'll find a good cross section on what actually goes on in the BBBS in terms of arguments and general mayhem. And for the record - I NEVER get tired of arguments like these because - when you're talking about Apple - you're really only talking about a few identical, repetitious mistakes.
