as to why anyone would want to be an apologist for Microsoft? Are you really _that_ impressed with their 80% market share that you think they need commending? And why is it that Microsoft spent unknown quantities of money to mimic the Apple OS, which had been around for over a decade, without actually succeeding?

interesting idea though, even if a little bit half-baked.
It could use a comma at the least, a heavy rewrite at the most, I know. But until someone pays me for a copy editor, I never have to say I'm sorry. In the meantime, copy fixes have been posted for the end of the "WHY" section. As for Microsoft? I'm always impressed with their affordable approach to the marketplace rather than one, now teetering, from past greed.
